A205 Pressure Sustaining and Reducing Valve
Reduces downstream pressure while sustaining minimum upstream.
Product Description
The A205 combines pressure reduction with pressure sustaining in a single valve. The PRV pilot reduces downstream pressure to the set value while the sustaining pilot ensures upstream pressure does not fall below a minimum threshold. When demand is high and upstream pressure approaches the sustaining set point, the sustaining pilot takes control to protect the upstream supply. Used where one transmission main serves multiple zones with differing supply commitments.
